Fruity and well-rounded

This ruby-colored wine will enchant by its frank nose will recall you red fruits and liquorice. In mouth, it is winey and tempered. It will astound you by its balance and its taste allying the greediness of candied fruits awaken by a touch of spices and an iodic point. Ripe tannins are melting.




Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

The wine is then made and commercialized by the trader. This profession requires a special skillset in viticulture to only select the best plots.     Founded in 2010 and located in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, the merchant establishment Pierre Vidal is the result of the desire of a young oenologist to produce wines that express in the best way their terroir, their vintage and their region.
    The whole range of wines come from plot selections done by the Maison. The brand "Pierre Vidal" is the result of the best vintages from each designation.

    • Terroir: The soil is composed of a mix of clay and limestone. The Mediterranean climate is ideal for the viticulture.
    • Viticulture: Harvests are done mechanically.
    • Wine-making: Fermentations are made using stainless steel tanks without adding any product. The must macerates during more than four weeks. Then the wine ages for 14 months which allow it to develop fruity aromas and roundness.
