Fruity and crisp

Complex and fresh, the nose of this pale wine is extremely pleasing to analyze, recalling the juniper, the mimosa, the passionfruit and the citrus fruits peel. Well-balanced and fruity, it unveils in mouth a great freshness that matches well with its pleasant roundness. This freshness is to find also during the length that features greedy notes of peppermint.
 

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • Plaimont Producteurs

    The cellars of Plaisance, Aignan and Saint Mont have gathered their savoir-faire, inheritances and terroirs to form the cooperative Plaimont Producteur in 1979. The cellars of Crouseilles and Condom have joined the cooperative 20 years later.

     

    • Terroir: Plaimont Producteur represents 98% of the Saint Mont designation. Spread across 3500 hectares at the crossing of the Gascogne, the Béarn, the Pyrénées and the Gers, the vineyard cultivates the grape varieties courbu, mansengs, tannat, pinenc, arrufiac, colombard and cabernet sauvignon.
    • Viticulture: Concerning the viticulture, a strict contract is established between the winegrowers, the expert and the terroir.
       
    • Wine-making: The macerations are long and the extraction are made in an extremely soft way. A patent filed by the cooperative protects the methods put in place to showcase the thioalcool molecule that causes the aromas of exotic fruits and citrus fruits of the wines made in the South-West of France.
