Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
Bright coral colour. Pretty open nose with exotic fruit aromas followed by notes of red berries and fresh spices (fennel, star anise). Beautiful balance, finesse, elegance, fruity of small red berries and peppery notes. Beautiful sapid length.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

In 1936, the vineyard of Cassis appears in history. It obtains its classification in Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, AOC, at the very moment when these three letters officially see the light. Cassis is thus the first vineyard in France to have received this distinction.
Domain and appellation
Domaine de la Ferme Blanche
For three centuries of history, since 1714 this estate, which has remained a patrimony of the same family, is currently under the leadership of François Paret, his daughter Jérômine and oenologist Philippe Garnier.
- Terroir: The estate extends over 30 hectares on hillsides looking out to sea, facing the bay of Cassis on a very chalky, clay-limestone soil. The Mediterranean climate here offers particularly mild temperatures all year, little rain but sea mists that maintain an ideal humidity for the vines. SInce 2012, the Cassis vineyard has been in the Calanques National Park. It is the only vineyard in france to be fully included in the territory of a national park.
