Fruity and crisp

Its straw-colored dress with green reflections offers a nice fresh nose of exotic fruits. On the palate, this wine presents a good balance, dry and fresh, with a character on white and exotic fruits. Final, frank, straight and tense.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

The phylloxéra is an aphid able to kill vines by attacking its roots. This puceron devastated most of the European vineyards in the 19th century.

Domain and appellation

  • Domaine du Tariquet

    The hectic story of the Domaine du Tariquet was marked by 2 names. First, the “jeune Artaud,” bear exhibitor and expatriate, who partnered with his son to buy the domain. Then, Pierre Grassa, a former resistant who developed the domain with his wife Hélène Artaud.


    • Terroir: The vineyard lays on clay-limestone and sand soils to produce bas-armagnacs, white wines and rosés.


    • Viticulture: Ruined by the Phylloxéra crises, the vineyard thrives today thanks to Hélène Artaud and Pierre Grassa’s tremendous efforts, and also thanks to the following generations who keep preserving the domain through the implementation of sustainable agriculture.


    • Vinification: The wine ages for 5 months in stainless steel tanks.
