Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful wine with potential
Nose on notes of roasting, spices and black fruits au gratin. Fleshy attack with fullness and balance. Frank extension with aromatic notes and candied black fruits. Frank character on spices, mocha. Final on notes of cocoa.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

The acquisition of a property in the heart of Tain 1'Hermitage has enabled Delas Frères to acquire a new setting. This place resonates directly with the nearby vineyard. An inspiring site, dedicated to the work of wine. A place that is nonetheless a space for living and sharing. A privileged place to welcome its visitors who will be able to enjoy a privileged moment and appreciate the art of living in the Rhône Valley.
Domain and appellation
For 180 years, the "winegrower heart" of Delas Frères has been expressed with high standards and passion on the northern appellations of the Rhône Valley with a House policy resolutely focused on the quality of the terroirs.
Under the leadership of Fabrice Rosset, appointed Chairman in 1996, Delas Frères undertook a major investment program:
- New winemaking room.
- Renovation of the aging cellar.
- Acquisition of vineyards and increase in storage capacity in particular.
- Syrah : 100%
