Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Coral colour. Open nose of cranberries, pomegranates, notes of white pepper, cumin. Good balance on a frank, full-bodied wine, finesse with crystalline notes. Character that goes towards sweet spices, dry garrigue notes. Straightforward finish with a warm touch.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Château La Gordonne
Set in a cirque of schist like a jewel box, the vineyards of Château La Gordonne benefit from a special microclimate. The winters are mild and the summers hot and dry, allowing the vines to capture all the heat of the Provencal sun. Viticulture: The vines are grown on a clay-limestone plain and on schist slopes. Poor in humus, the soil is also permeable, shallow, stony and well-drained, providing ideal conditions for the vines to flourish. Vinification :A wide variety of grape varieties, typical of Provence, are grown on the estate.
