Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and crisp

With its straw color and green hues, this wine offers a nice fresh nose of white flowers and white fruits. On the palate, it presents a good balance, with a nice character on the fresh hazelnut, the almond and notes of ferns.

Straw with green tints

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

The history of Beyrac family goes back to the 3rd crusade. Bertrand Beyrac allegedly sent to Jerusalem three barrels of its "coasts" to the Crusaders.

Domain and appellation

  • Les Vignerons de Buzet

The history of the Buzet appellation illustrates the undeniable strength of wine cooperatives. Born in 1953, the cooperative Les Vignerons de Buzet offered a future to its eponymous wines with the obtaining of A.O.C in 1973.

    • Terroir: Spread over 2000 hectares, the Buzet appellation benefits from unique climatic and geological conditions. The vineyards rest on soils composed of clay, gravel, silty boulbène and clayey earth. Some vineyards reach more than 150 meters.
    • Viticulture: The viticultural practices of the cooperative are part of a sustainable approach. All plots bear the Agri Confiance label, the vines are grassed and the chemical fertilizers banned.
