Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Limpid and shiny, this pale yellow wine releases fragrances of yellow fruits, peach and white flowers. This tendency is following in mouth with the supple attack leaving space for aromas of yellow fruits and pear. These aromas bring greed to the well-balanced whole.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

The origin of the wood and the age of the barrel have a key role in the aromas and the appearance of the wine.

Domain and appellation

  • Buissonnier

Located at the heart of the wine-making region of Bourgogne, the Côte Chalonnaise is representing all of its nuances. The Buissonier wines are coming from a range of plots choosed bit by bit to unveil the particular identity of every designation.

    • Terroir: The Aligoté burgundy is entirely made of the Aligoté grape variety. Plots of this variety are essentially located between Buxy and Saint-Gengoux-le-National, at the foot of the hills. Subsoils are composed of clay and limestone. The soil is frequently covered of stones screes that allow the grapes to reach a good maturity.
    • Wine-making: Its wine-making step is entirely done using stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and its liveliness.
