Fruity and crisp
The color of this clear and limpid wine is pale-yellow embellished with silver reflects. The nose is frank with notes of exotic fruits, including pineapple. The whole is awaken by a mineral touch. The attack is invigorating, refreshing and well-balanced at the same time. Its finesse and its typical taste call the sauvignon to mind.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Together, the 84000 winegrowers produce 39% of AOC wines (French appellation wines), 71% of Vins de Pays (local wines) and export over a third of their production abroad. Acting as a collective force, those cooperatives allow winegrowers to focus on their vineyards without directly having to take care of the winemaking process and the commercialization of their wines.

Les Vignerons de Berticot
Located in the heart of Aquitaine, to the northwest of Lot-et-Garonne, the Côtes de Duras vineyard has brought together all the qualities of a great appellation for more than 60 years. The Vignerons de Berticot is a cooperative representing 120 winegrowers spread over 1000 hectares of vines, of which more than half are located in the Côtes de Duras AOC.
The Première cuvee is the result of a rigorous selection of the cooperative’s best crus.
- Vinification: Developed the traditional way in vats, at low temperatures, the wine is then matured on fine lees.
