Fruity and well-rounded

With its pale yellow color with green hues, this wine offers you a nice open and greedy nose of white fruits, yellow peaches, fresh apricots and peppermint. On the palate, it has a nice balance, with a nice greedy character on fresh fruits, tip of wisteria, lilac. Finale gourmet without heaviness.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

There are over 690 cooperative wineries and unions in France. Together, the 84000 winegrowers produce 39% of A.O.C wines (French appellation wines), 71% of Vins de Pays (local wines) and export over a third of their production abroad. Acting as a collective force, those cooperatives allow winegrowers to focus on their vineyards without directly having to take care of the winemaking process and the commercialization of their wines.

    Founded in 1932, La Cave de Pomérols has continued to grow, prosper and modernize over time. This cooperative of about 350 members extends between the land and Lake Thau on sunny terraces called Costieres, hence the name "Costières de Pomérols'.


    • Terroir: The wine comes from vines planted on clay and limestone soil, a few kilometers from the Lake Thau.


    • Vinification: A maceration for a few hours precedes an alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats. The wine is then aged on fine lees in tanks with stirring.
