Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Straw-colored dress, gold reflection.
Frank, greedy nose, on candied peach, acacia, opens on yellow fruits and almonds.
On the palate, a supple attack of tension and balance. Straightforward length, hint of sweetness, notes of frangipane, on fresh almonds. Good length. Persistent finish on floral notes.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Domain and appellation
n 2017, the producers of the “Bourgogne” regional appellation, located in the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, obtained the additional “Bourgogne Côte d'Or” label. This name is reserved for still red and white wines produced exclusively in the 40 villages of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits.
