Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and crisp

Dark garnet colour with brick tints. Open nose with notes of red fruit and spices, with a hint of acidity. Fruity attack, small body, little red fruit character, quite frank. The finish is fairly full-bodied, with spices and small red berries.

Features

Domain and appellation

  • UGGIANO

    Azienda UGGIANO wines are made in the purest Tuscan tradition. Montespertoli Castle (13th century), near Florence, is the Azienda's birthplace. The cellars are located in the heart of the Chianti vineyards, close to the River Pesa. UGGIANO wines are matured in 225-litre barrels from cooperages in the Massif Central region of France: Allier, Vosges and Nevers.
