Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and crisp

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

It is Francois 1st who established this ROMORANTIN grape variety in a town of sologne where his mother lived in 1519 before the construction of the CHAMBORD castle.

Domain and appellation

UNIQUE WHITE WINE IN THIS APPELLATION. It is a dry wine, lively, fleshy pale yellow with aromas of ripe fruits and a slight hint of acacia flowers. It is left for 12 to 18 months to age in bottle so that all the atoms evolve towards nuances similar to honey with a floral evocation, mainly linden and sometimes syringe and jasmine.
