ALERIA, the eastern plain, the cradle of Corsican agriculture, where the history of the island's vineyards began 2600 years ago with the colonisation of the region by the Phocaeans, founders of the ancient city of "Alalia".

Domain and appellation

The Olivella Estate is located in ALERIA.
For 5 generations, our family business has developed several types of crops including clementine orchards and vines... Farming from father to son, we favour sustainable agriculture with love and kindness towards our land. This year, Domaine Olivella presents its first single-variety Biancu Gentile. Biancu Gentile is an endemic Corsican variety, long forgotten and then returned in the 20th century as a secondary grape variety. Thanks to the perseverance of our agricultural and cultural heritage, Biancu Gentile has been put back in the spotlight for a few years now and we are happy to participate in its rehabilitation!
