Our oenologists' opinion
Amber garnet colour with brick reflections, limpid and brilliant. Open and aromatic nose, beautiful finesse, notes of spices, mocha and candied cherry, hint of kirch. Supple, velvety, elegant attack, satiny tannins, nice character on spices and tobacco. Sapid finish, good balance, good length on spices and red fruits au gratin, fine and elegant oak note.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
In 1956, the winter was so severe that most of the Bordeaux vines were destroyed. So they had to replant much of the vineyard.

Château Chevrol Bel Air
Fermentation and maceration take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel or cement vats for a period of three weeks. The wines are then matured in stainless steel vats paired with oak barrels in order to preserve the fruity aromas and a discreet woodiness as well as a gentle oxidation of the wine.
