My wife and i first drank this in Corsica. its a nice summer wine sweet, light, and crisp on the pallet, i would recommend sunshine with this wine.......

Its pale color with green reflections offers a fresh nose of white flowers, pineapple, passion fruit and apricot confit. As for the taste, this wine presents a nice balance, freshness and finesse with a tight and fresh finish. Lovely wine.

Les Vignerons CorsicansSituated in Borgo, the Union des Vignerons Associés du Levant (UVAL) brings together forty winemakers with nearly 900 hectares of vineyards spread over the east coast of Corsica. In addition to its branded wines, it has developed over several years particular winemaking areas, and a trading structure.
- Terroir: Located on the eastern coast between sea and mountains, this area of 20 hectares of vines evolve on clay shale areas.
- Viticulture: Manual harvesting is done when the grapes are overripe: passerillage. This traditional method of late harvest promotes great aromatic concentration with a degree of natural alcohol.
- Vinification: There is a first cold maceration before pressing and a slow second maceration on lees. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.
