Our oenologists' opinion
Its coppery, amber color offers an open nose with hints of salted butter caramel. As for the taste, the vanilla flavour is gradually fading, giving way to a wooded and toasted long finish, that is elegant and balanced.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation
This bourbon is the undisputed reference of its category since 1795. It is made in a distillery located in Clermont, in the North of Kentucky.
- Manufacturing: It is made from a corn mixture (minimum 51%), rye and malted barley. The distillation takes place at a maximum temperature of 80°, which allows a better conservation of flavours. It's the extra years of aging that give Jim Beam Black its full-bodied taste with hints of smooth caramel and warm oak.
