Champagne Château de Bligny Grande Réserve
Established in 1773 by the marquis de Dampierre on an existing medieval castle , the Château de Bligny stands out by its unique medieval architecture. It also is the only Champagne domain to carry the “Château” designation.
- Terroir: Located near by the Cistercian abbey of Clairvaux in the Côte des Bars region, the domain spreads across 20 hectares.
- Wine-making: Elaborated according to the traditional method, this Champagne Grande Réserve is an equal blend of chardonnay and pinot noir.
- Tasting: Control and greediness are the key-words of the tasting of this straw-colored champagne that releases fragrances of ripped yellow fruits and lemon. In mouth, its roundness, its freshness and its envelope are turning this tasting into a very pleasant moment.
