Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Its golden green color offers a nice nose of yellow fruits, dried apricots, yellow peaches and honeyed notes. In the mouth, this wine presents a good balance, with freshness and character on yellow fruits and candied fruits. Final stretched with a mineral tip.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Style ? Dry wines are acidic, lively and fresh while sweet wines are soft and feel round in the mouth.

Do you know ?

There are two ways to get sweet or sweet wines:

The first come from overripe grapes picked up by hand in one go in September.

The sweet wines are gently picked by successive of botrytised grapes such as Bordeaux wines or raisined grapes like the wines of Jurançon. Several passages are necessary and the volumes are very small.

This meticulous work brings an incredible aromatic richness to sweet wines but also less volumes, hence the price difference between sweet and sweet.
