Fruity and well-rounded

Its straw-colored robe offers a nice floral nose with notes of citrus and candied lemon. This wine has a good balance and a nice character. Fruity finish on pear and peach.

    Located in Zahle in the Bekaa Valley, called the breadbasket of Lebanon, Domaine Wardy is famous for its high quality wine and rich history dating back to 1891.
     
    • Terroir: The estate's vineyard extends over 65 ha and offers a remarkable diversity:
      • At 900m altitude, a terroir in alluvial plain where Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Muscat and Merlot excels.
      • At 1100m, a hill of gravel and clay where the Syrah is in abundance.
      • At 1200m, clayey-limestone terraces planted with Cabernet Sauvignon.

     

    • Viticulture: Harvesting is done manually.

     

    • Vinification: The grapes of Clos Blanc are harvested at full maturity and vinified separately in thermo-regulated tanks. The assemblage and breeding is done in tanks in concrete in order to allow the wine to be refined and to acquire the harmony and finesse sought.
