Our oenologists' opinion

Its sustained straw color offers a nice bouquet of yellow fruit nose and hazelnuts. As for the taste, this wine has typed a nice balance, depth and freshness. It is frank, elegant, full and nervous with a long finish and fine bubbles, creamy and mineral touch. Elegant wine.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

The wines vinified in traditional méthode champenoise are all treated the same. The difference? The words "méthode champenoise" is reserved for wines from the famous vineyards of the Champagne region.

Domain and appellation

  • Louis Roederer

Founded in 1776, the house was entrusted to the hands of Louis Roederer in 1833 to expand and establish itself one of the finest terroirs of Champagne. When other homes bought their crops to wine growers, the house Roederer embarked against the current acquisition policy for more prestigious wines.

    • Terroir: The house has vineyards in the three most important wine regions of Champagne: the Valley of the Marne, the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.

    • Viticulture: Spread over 240 hectares, the vineyards are divided into 410 plots. Like the ending of Bourgogne, the vines are pampered and worked piecemeal to respect the diversity of terroirs.

    • Vinification: This Roederer Vintage 2007 is assembled with 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. It averaged 4 years and is based on binding six months after disgorgement.
