Fruity and crisp

Bright, crystalline, medium lemon-yellow colour. Straightforward and fresh nose of white flowers, hints of citrus fruit, spicy peppery notes, then praline. Well-balanced, frank, straight, medium body, nice freshness, finesse and elegance. Fine, rather creamy bubbles. Good long and fresh finish.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

Classed as an historical monument in 1931, "Les Crayères" dates back to the Gallo-Roman period. Situated under the town of Reim, the stones extracted from the cellars have been used for the fortifications of the town. Offering ideal conditions for the fermentation and maturation of the wine, maison Ruinhart was the first great house of Champagne to use them.
