Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Ochre colour. Frank nose on candied pear, notes of apples and yellow fruits. Supple attack, balanced, point of sweetness. Frank length, medium body. Nice classic Pale Ale. Nice bitterness. Frank and persistent finish.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
Created in 2017 by 2 brothers Benjamin and Jean Sébastien. The Petite Couronne beers are natural beers on lees, unpastuerised, brewed with respect to tradition and with a taste for innovation. We brew 10 hectolitres every week and the entire production chain is handled by us.
Domain and appellation
We are situated in the heart of Houts-de-Seine, in Colombes. Our volition is to produce beers of quality and confectionary with raw materials from the local agriculture.
Favouring the short routes to limit carbon dioxide emissions, all of our malts come from the Soufflet malt house in Nogent-sur-Seine, mess than 100km away from our brewery, it's simple; there is nothing closer.
