Fruity and well-rounded

Its dark purple color offers a stewed fruit nose, licorice, spice, pepper and juniper. In the mouth, this wine presents a nice balance and tannins.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Les Petites Récoltes, “The small harvests,” carry the European label IGP “Protected Geographical Indication.” Those wines speak for their terroirs and were created specifically for Nicolas.

    The "Petites Recoltes" range is the result of a collaboration between Nicolas and cellars able to better use the land around them. Their specificity? A multitude of regional varieties associated with "traditional" varieties of Appellations for assemblies in search of fruitiness and freshness, that adapt to the desires and tastes of consumers. Nicolas' Oenologists annually assess the quality of new vintages and decidethe assembly and dosages.
