Our oenologists' opinion

Its golden color offers a nice nose and blooming bouquet of candied yellow fruits, quince, almond paste and sweet spices. As for the taste, this wine has a nice, sweet balance, elegance and power. It is frank, open, very characteristic, full-bodied and robust with a coated mineral touch.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Style ? Dry wines are acidic, lively and fresh while sweet wines are soft and feel round in the mouth.

Do you know ?

A beautiful alternative to prestigious great growths of Bordeaux, the second wines promise feats of great vintage years. From the youngest plots of the great Bordeaux castles, they evolve on the same terroirs and benefit from a unique know-how in viticulture and vinification.
