Fruity and light
Its ruby color with purple highlights offers an exuberant nose of red fruits, cassis and violet. On the palate, this wine is balanced and full with a long finish coated on fruit.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
The gamay grapes are handpicked and fully (without a destemming or crushing process) thrown into hermetic tanks that are saturated with carbon-dioxide. This “carbonic” method helps to obtain wines that can be appreciated early on.

Located at a place called Pass-Loup in the sector of Saint Vérand, the Pass-Loup domain has been the property of the family Dubost Martin, for 4 generations.
- Terroir: This area of 20 hectares, located in southern Beaujolais, is based on granite soils of the foothills of the Massif Central.
- Viticulture: For 10 years, the field has passed a contract and Sustainable Agriculture is part of a group of winemakers promoting a responsible harvest.
