Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and crisp

Its light color with green hues introduces an open nose with smoked and mineral notes. The palate is airy, balanced, bold and characterized by spices with a good envelope. The finish is tensed on minerality.

Green colored tint

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • Kamptaler Terrassen

Located 70 km North-west of Vienne in the Kamp Valley, the Weingut Bründlmayer domain stands out through the use of environmental-friendly viticultural methods. Its director, Willi Bründlmayer, gives much care to the vines and its well-being.

    • Terroir: Spread across 75 hectares, the vineyard lays on stony terraces with layered loess.

    • Viticulture: Chemical fertilizers and herbicides are prohibited and organic winegrowing methods favored.

    • Vinification: This wine is a blend of several must sourced out from different vines. The fermentation occurs in tanks and barrels from 3 to 18 months.
