  • Château de Laubade

Founded in 1870, the first owner of Castle Laubade was Joseph Noulens, former Ambassador of France in St. Petersburg and Minister of War, Finance and Agriculture in the government of Georges Clemenceau. Today the estate belongs to the Lesgourgues family since 1974. This Timeless Armagnac Hors d'Age has received the gold medal at the World Spirits Awards in 2010.

    • Terroir: Located on the terroir of Bas Armagnac Armagnac Sorbets, this area of 105 hectares is based on soil tawny sands and boulbènes. Laubade Castle is one of the few properties to cultivate the four traditional grapes of the appellation: Ugni Blanc, Baco, Colombard and Folle Blanche.

    • Viticulture: Environmentally conscious, the field practices sustainable agriculture.

    • Vinification: Armagnac is aged in Gascony oak barrels for a period of 12-20 years.
