Do you know ?

Since the 19th century, the Maison Rémy Martin's emblem has been a centaur. This symbolizes the union between nature and humans, as well as its know-how.

Domain and appellation

  • Rémy Martin

Founded in 1724 by Rémy Martin, wine-grower in the area of Cognac, the Maison Rémy Martin has always had one aim: to capture the Heart of Cognac. It develops premium cognacs, using grapes from the best vintages of the region, the Grande and Petite Champagne. In 2011, the Maison was bought by the group Rémy Cointreau.
Created in 1997, this cognac pays tribute to an important step of the history of the Maison. Indeed, in 1738, King Louis XV, impressed by the quality of Rémy Martin cognacs, signed a royal agreement, exclusively permitting the planting of new vines.
