Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
Its coral orange look offers nice aromas of red fruits with toasted notes. Taste-wise, this champagne has typed a nice balance and sharpness with mineral notes. It is full-bodied with nice creamy bubbles. Beautiful wine.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Classified a historical monument in 1931, "Les Crayeres" date back to Roman times. Located in the city of Reims, the stones extracted from these caves were used for the fortifications of the city. Offering ideal conditions for fermentation and maturation of wine, Ruinart was the first of the great Champagne houses to use them.
